Rachamim — Compassion & Care
 
It is taught by our rabbis that the great Name (the name of God), we do not know how to pronounce, but we are taught to know that it stands for: “Compassion.” (Heschel)

Members of TheBayit’s Rachamim Team are committed to creating a wholistic and inclusive caring community at CBI.

✓  They are good listeners and willing to reach out to members who are mourning the loss of a loved one and may need help with shiva meals, organizing minyanim or who need someone to sit with them for Shabbat Services to recite Kaddish.

✓  They have empathy and are able to “hold space” for the needs of others.

✓  They are committed to providing a compassionate and caring presence in the lives of others.

✓  They will work with clergy to create a system of sharing sensitive information about congregants in need within the parameters of HIPAA privacy laws and confidentiality.
