The Grace & Horace Goldsmith Sanctuary is a sacred and inviting space where tradition, community, and spirituality come together. Designed to welcome up to 500 congregants, it serves as the spiritual heart of the congregation. Our sanctuary is not only a place for weekly Shabbat services but also hosts significant life-cycle events, community gatherings, and moments of communal celebration.

The Roth Family Chapel is a serene and intimate space where the richness of Jewish life and tradition is beautifully reflected. Its stained glass windows, depicting the twelve tribes of Israel, honor our shared heritage—from Jacob’s sons to the enduring spirit of our people.

Used for daily prayer, smaller services, and meaningful life-cycle events, the chapel offers a peaceful setting for reflection, connection, and worship—a place where community and tradition come together in sacred stillness.

stein family MIKVEH

The Stein Family Community Mikveh is a sacred space for spiritual renewal and unity. As the first mikveh in Arizona endorsed by Reform, Conservative, and Orthodox rabbis, it stands as a powerful symbol of cross- denominational collaboration. Our mikveh serves the diverse needs of the Jewish community—welcoming individuals for immersions related to weddings, conversions, family purity, and other life transitions. It reflects our commitment to inclusivity, tradition, and shared sacred moments.

BIBLical GARDEN

The Biblical Garden at Congregation Beth Israel is a living tribute to the plants and symbols of Jewish scripture. Featuring species mentioned in the Torah—such as olive, fig, pomegranate, and myrtle—the garden offers a peaceful space for reflection, education, and connection to our sacred texts. It invites visitors to experience the beauty of nature through the lens of Jewish tradition, deepening both spiritual and environmental appreciation.

beth israel CEMETERY

Established in 1928, Beth Israel Jewish Cemetery is the oldest Jewish cemetery in the Phoenix metropolitan area. Located at 305 S. 35th Avenue, it serves as a final resting place for individuals of all Jewish denominations, including those unaffiliated with a congregation.
